    mmm...

I don't feel it's important to update any of these files, except for maybe Sumatra and MPC, - the links for these updated scripts and others are on post #4 as I keep saying!!!

and my MiniTool® Power Data Recovery script updates to v11 via the U button as suggested on post #5

edit: update FastCopy scripts to v 4.1.5 on post #4

Almost App for App the same as XPE - just uses different %variables% & Pebakery as the builder - reminds me of "ChrisPE" when XPE first became stable
Somebody didn't read the FAQ: Is PhoenixPE a clone/fork of Win10XPE? PhoenixPE pre-dates XPE (by at least 4 years), and has been in use for the last 8 years, mostly by private organizations, individuals, and the beta team that volunteered to test for public release. I only recently released the repository to the general public. They are not even remotely the same code (which is painfully obvious if you take even a cursory look under the hood), though both share some concepts with Win10PE/Win10PE_SE (remember I worked on the whole family of projects from VistaPE onward, even before ChrisR took over development). That's not to say there have not been idea's from XPE integrated through the years, and they are credited in the code where appropriate (ChrisR's RegAddDriver.cmd and some of your Networking additions come to mind). That is after all, the point of a community. To share, use, and improve each others work.

As for ChrisPE, it's a completely different animal. It's a project I had nothing to do with, and uses a completely different model (it builds by injecting files into WinRe.wim, not by extracting files, building, then re-packing .wim. It also has no explorer support.). And as you should recall, ChrisPE actually was publicly released first (March 7, 2018) after ChrisR announced he was stepping back from Win10PE_SE. ChrisR then released Win10XPE 3 days later (March 10, 2018).

Anyway, not to hijack your thread or advertise, just to correct the misinformation. Keep up the good work with XPE, I am not your competition, and may people appreciate your efforts to keep the project alive.

    regards,

Create an all in ram ISO of your project.

Apply This ISO to a USB drive with Rufus. (MBR - BIOS/UEFI - NTFS)

    Format the main partition.

Apply your Project Boot.wim to that partition:
    Code:
    dism /Apply-Image /ImageFile:{PathToYourXPEProjectISOSources}\boot.wim /ApplyDir:{DriveLetter}:\

    Create boot files:
    Code:
    bcdboot {DriveLetter}:\Windows /s {DriveLetter}: /f all

You have a nice Flat Bootable Win10XPE that supports files over 4G on the file system.
    Hi MaloK

Yes, I've been doing that. It's so convenient. I could change the colour scheme of cmd window. I used a VHD instead of a partition. Worked so well. Thanks for validating the approach.
