    Ok so I switched things around and re-ran the program.

    The program just kind of finished up and closed all of the windows except the WinXPE program.

    I guess according to the log, it didn't finish again. But now it seems to be a different error

    Anyone have an idea what's it missing now??

    Those warning messages could be normal if you have the 'basic build' script selected. Did you get a Win10XPE_x64.ISO created in the project root directory? (assuming x64 build)

    I just received this virus warning about a file in the WinXPE download from Defender:

    I wasn't even using the application, the error just came out of no where.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

    I removed it, I just hope my computer isn't compromised now.

    @johnnyscience

    If D: is still your usb thumbdrive, is that whole directory, leftover from when you were trying to run the project from it, if so, there's no point in keeping it anyway, and No, it won't have compromised anything, as it's just another well known false positive.

    If my assumption that D: is still your usb drive, does that mean you either haven't been able to get the project to create an ISO yet or you haven't been able to transfer it to D: as it would have formatted that drive and blown all that old stuff away!

    STEP 1) You will need to allow a Windows Defender "Exception" for Win10XPE (ie. Project-Directory-Folder) I would suggest the same exception for any A/V software, in order to allow the Program Exe's to run without being blocked by your Host System....

    I am having trouble with deleting a dynamic partition on my laptop. I got a reference for using these tools from the comment on my post here.

    Windows startup repair loop BSOD

    In the past I have failed with EaseUS, AOMEI and Minitools software. They aren't allowing me to delete 100mb system partition. So far every software is either not allowing to delete the partition or saying that I'll have to convert the partition to a basic one which will wipe out the entire partition first. Please guide me in using this tool to delete the partition. I know how to create the bootable USB but which specific tool should I use in the whole set?

    How to Convert Dynamic Disk to GPT without Data Loss?
    How to Convert Dynamic Disk to Basic without Data Loss?

    If you want to remove the system partition, and can't - then just format the partition to remove it's contents... Not sure what help a 100MB would be to you by deleting it anyway.. But you may also loose valuable disk information by formatting it....
    Use backup software and backup the disk FIRST - in case something goes wrong............................
