yea that was one of the first things I tried sadly it doesn't work if ANY of the volume ID's change
not sure why something is happening when a drive operation is performed and its not allowing me to remount Y
I also need some kind of script or autohotkey sniplet to monitor and then attempt to remount the drive
is there a way to manually specify which drive is Y instend of using /auto maby that will work better
there is also the issue if letterswap is run for example during a clone operation ... bad things could happen if the assignments change
You could borrow my scripts.
It is easiest to associate .wcs files with pecmd, if you arent already doing that.
add these lines to pecmd.ini
Code:
ENVI PECMD=PECMD.EXE
ENVI EDIT=notepad
REGI $HKCR\.wcs\=wcsfile
REGI $HKCR\wcsfile\=WCS File
REGI $HKCR\wcsfile\DefaultIcon\=%SystemRoot%\SYSTEM32\%PECMD%,0
REGI $HKCR\wcsfile\shell\open\command\=%PECMD% LOAD %L
REGI $HKCR\wcsfile\shell\Edit\command\=%EDIT% %L
REGI $HKCR\inifile\shell\PECMD\=PECMD load
REGI $HKCR\inifile\shell\PECMD\command\=%PECMD% "LOAD %L"
REGI $HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment\PATHEXT=.COM;.EXE;.NTR;.NTE;.NTX;.BAT;.CMD;.VBS;.VBE;.JS;.JSE;.WSF;.WSH;.WCS;.WCE;.WCX;.WCZ
Then you can run pe-fixusby.wcs from the desktop. It is just a text file with .wcs extension instead of .txt
pe-fixusby.wcs
Code:
TEXT looking for usb source..L30 T80 R740 B400 $24
envi fDrive=
FORX \PEUSBY.ini,&&fd,0,TEAM# FDRV &&fp=%&fd%# FIND~ $X:=%&fp%, ~envi fDrive=%fDrive%%&fp%
FIND# $X=X%fDrive%,! LOAD %fdrive%\PEUSBY.ini
which will find peusby.ini if you extract it from this zip and put peusby.ini on the root of the usb stick. It sets the usb letter to Y peusby.zip
