    Hi,

    If you want to Replace Notepad2 with Notepad++ as Windows Default Text Editor.
    With Kyhi's Notepad++ Plugin.

    Add to NotePad++_XPE.Script v3
    Code:
    [Interface]
    pCheckBox1="Replace Default Text Editor",1,3,11,202,99,32,True

    [Process]
    Run,%ScriptFile%,Add_Registry

    [Add_Registry]
    If,%pCheckBox1%,equal,true,begin
      RegHiveLoad,Tmp_Software,%RegSoftware%
      RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,"Tmp_Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\notepad.exe",Debugger,"#$q%PE_Programs%\%ProgramFolder%\%ProgramExe%#$q -notepadStyleCmdline -z"
      RegWrite,HKLM,0x2,Tmp_Software\Classes\txtfile\DefaultIcon,,%PE_Programs%\%ProgramFolder%\%ProgramExe%
      RegHiveUnload,Tmp_Software
    End

    Is it possible to just use hirens and build on top and edit that?
    This Fantastic tool allows you to create much better (and customized) working Win10 USB bootables than Hiren's. And it's realtively simple to use. I still have some caveats, but I'm currently trying to update some of its scripts for a FR version, along apps versions as well as trying to add some others - that's where I have problems since I'm a total noob with this tool, WinPE and its scripting file structure/commands, and most importantly packaging new apps for it. A good way to learn - I think? Though I feel that it would take a while (maybe too much time) since the docs are VERY vague for that matter - if not absent lol. I still need to work, see people along a gf and live in the real World, thus I doubt that I'll have enough time under hand for those too small steps that I'm making after hours of digging in. Anyways, apart from this, try it, replace the default sound and wallpaper, activate the auto-resolution, add and configure those apps that are already included, and you'll be a happy camper.

    Was there an issue with my previous post (it's been deleted)? I tried to ask Kyhi via PM before asking here but I can't, it's kept private.

    I'll take a look at it. Automating an install is pretty straightforward. AutoIT is kinda like BASIC. Now LISP, there's something that gets complicated fast...

    Thanks for the plugin.

    Already have it covered - Was updated 6-22-2021 to version 15.8 > included in updates > Post 2...

    Actually all you have to do - is unhide the AutoUpdate Button on the Applications Interface > to update to new version.. Button is hidden as it is already encoded..
