You can also try changing VC-Runtime script from embedded to full

Zenmap is available for multiple platforms. It has been successfully
tested on the following platforms/flavors:
* Ubuntu 5.04 Hoary Hedgeog
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
* OpenBSD 3.7
* Microsoft Windows 2000
* Microsoft Windows XP
* Apple MacOS X 10.4 (Tiger)

you can also look in the ProgramFolder/$PluginsDIR and find the VCredist2008 setup files

Thanks Kyhi,

I did try your suggestions At this point the CRT assembly version="9.0.21022.8" does not exist like you said, But it doesn't exist on a working Windows too.

I tried to extract all the NoSxS libs and install them to working directory, Then Dependency Walker reported the file as found but still with SxS incorrect config. I tried to copy all versions and their manifest to XPE SxS... also failed. Then I tried to Put all x86 libs in syswow64... all x64 in System32... then x86 in System32 then all over the place

at best the file is found but still errors.

Note that it's works in PESE since the beginning, then I converted my plugin to XPE in 2019 and was never able to run it since.

Hi doudiii,

Thanks for the correction, but I'm probably missing something you have.

I Extracted Win10XPE_2021-06-27 Then used Mega 07-06-21(VC++ Plugin v22) With Source Win10-19041.264-x64(en-US)

Made a vanilla build, and I still get the exact same Side by Side Error...So the Problem seems to be on my "Side"...

If you have any other suggestions, I'm open to try them... Still I'm happy to see you got it to work on your rig

doudii's Script is 3438 kb
Malok's is 89 kb

So something is different - registry and encoded files

I've just tried out of interest, Maloks 89kb script on basic build (only script selected) on 20H1 and 21H1 (UUP) and ZenMap 7.91 seems to work OK on both in x64 with explorer as shell.

@MaloK definitely requires 'Full Win10 Software hive' enabled to avoid the side by side errors, on my builds.

If that is the case APT then the issue Malok needs to find is the missing register entry...

No mod required. WOW... With over 160 Software in my compilation I never thought about trying that...
