    App wont uninstall properly

    Hi all
I installed an old game (FIFA Manager 06 from CD) to my laptop (windows 10) but it wouldn't work.
After trying a couple of things I gave up and tried to install it using the built in uninstaller in Windows.
It didn't seem to do anything so I browsed to the programme files and found an uninstall.exe for it and tried that.
Again nothing appeared to happen after I gave it permission.
So, I downloaded a third party uninstaller but when i opened it, the game didn't appear in the list of apps. I tried another uninstaller with the same result and when i go into the windows list of installed apps, it no longer appears.
However if I browse to the program files, its still there - taking up 1.8gb.
Not sure what to do now, I was tempted to just delete the files as windows doesn't recognise it now?
    Is there a safer way?
    Many thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it. The 1.8 GB of storage it uses is tiny. And you could even delete those files yourself.

Try Revo uninstaller free. If the program isn’t listed I recommend you use the trial version you should be able to force uninstall by typing the name of the program & searching for it.
Otherwise try installing the program again then running Revo.
Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download

Thanks for the suggestions, I have tried Revo and even when I search for it, it cant be found.
I think I will try re-installing it later and see it finds it.

OK, I re-installed the game after downloading Fifa manager 2012 demo.
I thought I would give the game one last try and now it seems to work fine (if I launch it from the CD drive). So maybe the download included a driver or something thats required to make these old games run?
Or maybe next time I try to play the game it just wont work again!
    Many thanks anyway.

Thanks, will do. Is it the right thing to do to mark it as solved?

If you wish to mark it solved then you can do so in a day or two. This will allow you to monitor how things go.
