Need recommendation for a file renamer

    Many thanks everyone , would still,prefer to use advanced renamer for date taken , should be much easier….

    I'd suggest taking a look at:

    The fastest photo and video organizer for Windows.

    It's free to download and use. It might be confusing at first but options allow group by date. It is also possible to open a folder and sort images into a new folder sorted by date taken.

    I've been using it for ages as a media browser but if you want to open images or video with your default app from within Difractor just highlight the item the press Ctrl+Enter or use Open on the toolbar.

    Did you manage to rename your photos with Advanced Renamer? I can share the code of the script that renames by Date taken by using exiftool if you want....
