    CfosSpeed ?


    In C:/Program Files has appeared this software. I have not downloaded it and my daughter knows nothing about it.

    Cfosspeed. We have no idea how it got installed here is a ascreen dump of contents. I have not tried to run it.

    Where the heck did it come from (Microsoft????)

    Komodo is reporting it as a virus???? I did a folder scan with Kaspersky, nothing found

    Using Geek uninstaller I got rid of it incl folder

    It looks like it probably comes bundled with other software that you might have installed.

    Maybe consider Spy-The-Spy so that you will know when an executable gets dropped.

    well in Cal, going to have a look. I did erase it via Geek but its a mystery. Will monitor folders as I come to them for anything on 12 June

    Apparently it's bundled with other software packages so check out any recent installs.

    Could be that Kaspersky doesn't like it adding a startup entry.

    Cal: there seems to be quite a few false positives Kaspersky does not like. Only recently It began blocking a web page I have been using for a very long time in my WW2 research, uboatarchives. I am still checking for anything that was installed on 12 June, nothing yet.
