Shut Up 10 problem or Windows Problem ?

    Running 21H1 (19043.1055)

I've been using Shut Up 10 for a long time without any problems. I downloaded the latest version but when I try to run it I get the message below. I've tried searching for a solution but this is a new one for me so not sure what to do. I'll contact O&O at the email provided if necessary but want to know if I can solve this myself first. Any ideas ?

    Hello @OldGuyFromCdn,

[1] As it is Portable, have you tried running it on another computer WITHOUT any changes just to see if it loads correctly?
[2] Have you tried running an Older Version to see if that still works?
[3] Did you directly download it from here? => O&O ShutUp10: Free Antispy Tool for Windows 10
[4] It could just be a corrupt download.

    I hope this helps.

    1. Haven't tried on another computer. I'll try on my currently unplugged and rarely used desktop later today.

    2. Still have the older version and it works fine. Even tried sending it to the recycle bin just in case there was some sort of conflict. Put it back when it didn't make a difference

    3. Downloaded from O & O web site. Actually downloaded it approx a week ago then again today as I thought it may fix the problem. Tried 2-3 times each time

    4. Could be corrupt download but as stated above I've tried a few times

I'll keep trying to figure it out. Thanks for your help Paul. Much appreciated as always.

[1] If it does NOT work on another computer, then it is obviously the download file. Perhaps you could then look at the Forum [ you will need to Translate into English ] to see if others are having a problem. O&O might NOT be aware [ doubtful though ] . . .

[2] I tried to find what has been updated between the versions for you but it wasn't very forthcoming.

    I hope this helps.

It works on my desktop, which was updated to 20H2 in early May. Tried reimaging laptop to last 20H2 version I have (mid-May) but still doesn't work. Even tried DISM with restore health. So it's definitely something on the laptop. Next stop is the O&O website.

Think I'll go out first though. Need some fresh air.

After quite a while searching, I did find it for you in the end => NEW: O&O ShutUp10 Version 1.8.1421!

    I hope this helps.

    @ OldGuyFromCdn

1.8.1421 runs flawlessly on all (3) of my desktop PCs.

If O & O support helps you solve the problem on the laptop, please post back here what the solution turns out to be.
