    OS History?

I know my computer is currently running Windows 10, however, I got my computer used so I don't know if it's always had Windows 10. Is there a way to see if your computers operating system history so I can see what operating system it ran before Windows 10? if it did run anything before

Yes, see this tutorial for details:

View Windows Upgrade History in Windows 10

Note that if a clean install of an OS was performed (as opposed to upgrades), you won't be able to see what preceded the clean, full install.

Showkey Plus will tell you if there are any product keys stored in BIOS for Windows:

If it's the Dell in your My Computer go to support.dell.com and Support then enter the ESC/Express Service Code, located on a sticker somewhere on the case. The resultant page should show how it shipped. The other code is the Service Tag which is the basic build of the computer, it may also be in the BIOS. The ST code can get one to the driver download page.

If you're unsure whether it was delivered to you immediately following being wiped and clean installed, consider performing a clean install now to eliminate any leftovers from previous users. Tutorial available.

And then start a new routine of using disk imaging as is so often recommended here.

Just as an addition to Retrieve [ FREE ] any Product Keys / License Keys for any installed software use . . .

    > Belarc Advisor - Shows in your browser.
    > ShowKeyPlus - Win10.Guru - Toolkit Item.
    > Speccy - Download Page.

Plus of course, CMD and PowerShell commands.

    I hope this helps.
