    Store - updates pending infinitelly!


    I don't know at this point what to try...

    I Am on desktop Windows 10 Pro 20H2 19042, no corruption, i tried to reset cache, troubleshooter, reinstall store completely with the command... Login and log out, restart pc. Nothing helped! I need to get updates, but they are just pending. Xbox app is also not downloading anything. No internet problems with any other program! It is not blocked in firewall, nor AV!

    PS: I disabled metered connection in regedit and in windows as I was using it to block automatic updates, didn't help after restart!

    I also tried to change region to mine - didn't help!

    Exactly. The Store relies on the Windows Update mechanism.

    Example: I used Sledgehammer (free) to stay on 1903 for a couple of years. To use the Store, I had to temporarily remove its restriction (it provides the means specifically to do that in a controlled and reasonably informative manner).

    No! Sledgehammer is uninstalled. I updated normally windows updates just now!

    Store still not working.

    Tried all troubleshooting steps like 50 things...

    Even other user account, but there was no corruption in the first place! Even tried to disable firewall/AV whatever - didn't help...

    Reinstalled, resetting store cache helps and then downloads download fast and proceed, but I have to do it literally every time. So annoying. I had also 20 others bugs, literally nothing worked!

    EDIT: OK now even deleting cache doesn't work... And microsoft support was useless as EVER, only idea they had was to repair upgrade. It resets whole array of settings and it is annoying, user can't be expected to repair/reinstall every time there is some stupid bug, which is like all the time...

    EDIT 2: ok finally got at least error from Event Viewer - Event 7023

    The Gaming Services service terminated with the following error: 
The system cannot find the file specified.
    It happens when reinstalling Xbox app, or store, or downloading in store. I traced that to disk permissions or disk errors. But I tried to install that on 2 disks, one of them new and use chkdsk which didn't find anything! So that's doesn't seem origin of the problem!

    Also I have problem with Xbox and installing games:
    Unable to install Xbox app whatsoever...

    NEVER MIND I AM DONE WITH BOTH STORE AND XBOX...
