Reset PC now don't have Microsoft Store

    Howdy.

I reset my PC - seems all good, but i get a message from Nvidia advising me to download the Nvidia Control Panel from the Microsoft Store.

Curiously, I no longer have the Microsoft Store installed. i used to have it installed but i couldnt download anything. i'd press the dl button and nothing ever happened.

i dont know where to dl the Store from.

further, the Nvidia website directs me to the online Store but when i click on the dl link on the online store, nothing happens.

so my issues are two-fold: no access to the store and cannot locate the Nvidia Control Panel to dl.

    any ideas?
    thanks.

    @Funjunkie6

The store is a bit more complicated... for now, let's just fix the Nvidia control panel issue.

    DDU Instructions - Nvidia
    1. Get this program, here: Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) | Wagnardsoft ...get the latest version, and save it to your desktop.
    2. Get the Standard/Game Ready vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: Advanced Driver Search | NVIDIA ...save this to your desktop.
    Unhook the internet completely.
    3. Reboot into Safe Mode and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you.
    4. After it's done, reboot to normal mode, then just double click the Nvidia driver to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.
    Rehook the internet.

There are two different Nvidia driver versions. The Standard version and the DCH version.
The DCH version is the one that needs to get the Control Panel from Microsoft.
That Standard version comes "with" the Nvidia Control Panel.

thanks so much, Ghot. I'll give it a try in a couple of hours time.

    appreciate your help.

PS: I see you're running 10.0.19043 and I'm running 10.0.19042, which I installed only two days ago - as an online download. is there a new update out?

    Not yet.
There was an enablement package that allowed us to test 19043.
21H1 should be coming soon, though.
