Sigh, that means you didn't do any Windows Updates.
Another way to free up some space is to disable system restore. This will delete all the restore points. (you can re-enable it afterwards)

Might have to just do a repair install the old fashioned way, from bootable media.
If you have another computer you can do the In-Place Upgrade from a USB stick...

After that the space is 3.77GB

Use the other computer to make a Windows 10 install USB stick, then use it on this computer to "clean install" Windows 10
Clean Install Windows 10
During a clean install (on the comp that doesn't work), make sure you unhook the internet, and any "other" drives in the computer... except the one you are installing Windows 10 on.
