    Hi,
    Anyone know a way to make winrar close automatically after extracting a file?

    It works for me, I use extract To and it extracts it and closes. WinRar 6.01 64 Bit.

    There is no option for that. I just right click on the compressed file and choose extract to (the folder name which is taken from the file name) or simply extract here.

    This works if you have WinRar setup properly. I only use Extract To Folder

    it works by activating the option "Extract file..." but only if you right click on the .rar file but not if you open the program
