    Open Office

I don't know what happened this morning but all of a sudden, Open Office is was NOT working no matter how I tried to open it.

So I used Revo Uninstaller and uninstalled it. What I need to know know is where to download Open Office for Windows 10. I am not sure if it has to be 64 bit or not. Where can I download it and have it work with my Windows 10.

Just a thought I did latest update for Windows 10. That maybe what caused the issue. I am NOT sure.

    Take care.

Download Open Office at openoffice.org/download. You can download the 32bit version, it works fine.
    I am using Windows 10 version 20h2.

Just be aware that many OpenOffice developers jumped ship when Oracle ceased development and gave OpenOffice to the Apache Foundation. Its development cycle has slowed as a result. Unfortunately this has also affected the frequency of bugfixes. The very similar LibreOffice is updated more frequently.

    Hope this helps...

I have both Libre Office and Apache Open Office -- both do a few things the other does not (hope that made sense). Libre is updated more often, RickC is so right about that.
