In the past I asked for help transferring to a new desk top pc,,and was advised and used "One Drive"
So far one drive has moved Documents and Pictures but not "Downloads" to my nhew pc
I checked on old pc Downloads are not in my One Drive..
Again I'm older and memory plus not pc bright.
How long has it been its can be gigs of data and take time. Are downloads on the pc or the cloud ie do they have a cloud icon next to them?
Ill check I dont know much I'm 86 and pcs are difficult

I hyave a cloud by Documents but not by Downloads
Maybe downloads cant be oin one drive or cloud
Sorry I know very little about pcs
Frankly the simplest and easiest way to move data is to get a large enough external USB disk (or even flash drive if that would be large enough) and copy (not move) first, say, the contents of Documents to, say, a Documents folder on that drive.
Repeat for other such folders or files on your PC.
Plug that disk into your new PC and copy back the data.
That's the least risk and no software setup or configuration.
