    I read this, Movie Maker is not available in Windows 10 - Microsoft Windows
    and thought it was not available FOR windows 10.

    Bump. You can get it with Windows Essentials 2012, check windows movie maker only to install the app. Enjoy.

    Windows Movie Maker works perfectly in Windows 10.

    Microsoft probably made that article that you posted above in order to scare people into thinking that you need to use the horrible, garbage "Windows Store" to download some half-assed "metro/universal app" instead of Windows Movie Maker.

    Microsoft is trying REALLY hard with their "app" agenda in Windows 10. I don't like it. I mean, let's be honest... they made a whole support ARTICLE just to say "WMM isn't meant for W10, so use our "appstore" to find an "app" instead".
