One last question: - When I set up the Wi-Fi PIN I chose a simple one but now want to change it to a more difficult PIN. I see it is easy to change this on the MyPhoneExplorer Client but it will then differ to that in MyPhoneExplorer on the PC. Will I be prompted to type in the new WiFi PIN on MyPhoneExplorer on the PC?
I know I could try it but did not want to discover that I couldn't change it on the PC and then have to change the MyPhoneExplorer Client PIN back to what it was before. I don't want to 'confuse' the setup by changing things then reverting. I see where I can change a "Password" in 'File / User / Name / Change name/password' but I suspect this is not the WiFi PIN and I can't see how to proactively change the WiFi PIN in MyPhoneExplorer on the PC. Hence the reason for my question.
I have never set an MPE WiFi PIN.
    - I only run MPE when I want to do something and then I close it again afterwards so a hacker wouldn't get much chance to slip in.
    - Judging from your comment, when you MultiSync, MPE on your computer asks you to enter the PIN you have set on the phone and then remembers it. Even this much is news to me
    - I agree that the MPE User password does not seem to be the same as the phone's MPE WiFi PIN.

You might also get some guidance in the MPE forum [English-language section].
I searched for PIN but the threads I looked through were not helpful.

@Try3 - More information to add to this thread's knowledge.

Like you I only run MPE when I want to do something and then I close it again afterwards.

Because I use the WiFi connection I changed the WiFi PIN on the MyPhoneExplorer Client and found: -

    1. The PIN can only be numbers. Text and special characters are not supported.
    2. Changing the Client PIN does cause the PC MyPhoneExplorer to ask for a PIN, so enter the new PIN and that's it.
