Create Sleep Shortcut For Modern Standby PC

    Greetings,

I am wondering if anyone knows how to create a sleep shortcut for a PC on 20H2 in modern standby.

The old S3 shortcut and variants do not work with modern standby.
    rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0 etc

I'm aware of the PlatformAoAcOverride key to switch back to S3 but I had wake issues.

The only thing I'm lacking is a sleep shortcut. Can the "Actual" Sleep in the power menu not be recreated or a shortcut be made ?

    Thanks

    No.

You cannot create the ability to S3 sleep if your computer does not support S3 sleep. If that Registry hack to suppress S0 Modern standby gives you unfortunate side-effects*** then you cannot use S3 at all.
*** With my only S0 Modern standby computer, I had network problems after using that hack so I also had to undo the change and live with the S0 Modern standby curse. I think S0 Modern standby was created for the sole purpose of upsetting users.

The closest you are going to get is a hibernate shortcut
    Code:
    C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /h

As you probably already know, you can run
    Code:
    powercfg -a
to check which sleep states are supported on your computer.
