    How I export my profile data from a firefox extension?

    How I export my profile data from an extension? An extension I'm using isn't working properly and I'd like to export my data before reinstalling it. It's called onetab.

    The menu on the top right corner is gone, so how can I export my saved data (or tabs)?

    PS. Going to moz-extension://47f198f4-e5c4-407e-ae76-97625d481c7a/import-export.html doesn't work as the extension is faulty so it fails to display any URL's that can be exported.

    Your answer assumes that the extension I'm using (onetab) isn't faulty. But it is faulty as I've said earlier.
    If I copied my profile folder to a different computer, I would have the same problem on the different computer as the extension is faulty, so the faulty files would end up being copied.

    I don't want to backup my firefox profile folder as that doesn't give me the list of tabs or profile data saved in onetab extension
    Onetab extension is faulty as it won't let me export my saved data because the "export link" isn't visible on the extension web page and the "export dump" isn't visible on the import and export web page of the extension.

    Where is my firefox extension data stored?

    Did you give me the wrong link? You showed me a knowledge base article, not a forum thread.

    Not familiar with that Moz extension you listed, but the app still works for me. Worth a try.

    Try this ......

    PHP Code:
    Get the Roaming profile foler name from Root Directoryabout:profiles (type about:profiles into Firefox address bar)

    Look in:
    C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<your profile name -egjoe.xyx>\storage\default

    Look for a folder with name
    moz
    -extension+++47f198f4-e5c4-407e-ae76-97625d481c7a............
    I'm assuming that folder exists and has your OneTab add-on settings.

    I opened the relevant folder and none of the files in it or its subfolders are relevant. The sqlite file shows up as an empty file when viewed in Extends Class SQLite Viewer

    Mozbackup doesn't work with Firefox 57 and above (quantum) because Firefox dropped support for XUL extensions and only supports WebExtensions.

    For me it shows up in sqlite database here:

    C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ff4353sv.default-release\storage\default\moz-extension+++937b87d0-5078-44b2-a47b-b99ef9c92e8b^userContextId=4294967295\idb

    Copy the folder contents to another folder then restore the contents to the same newly created folder (after removing then reinstalling the addon)

    C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ff4353sv.default-release\storage\default\moz-extension+++e94ac9a2-8000-424d-a1c3-b28bc6e74d31^userContextId=4294967295\idb

    specfically in sqlite database in the folder named idb

    I just ran Mozback v1.5.1 and it produced a 175mb .pcv file, just as it should. I'm running FF 88 beta 5.
