What is the path to this file that you're intersted in?
Personally I tested idb folder backup multiple times and the data is always restored if I completely remove the extension then reinstall it.

The file is called 5364
C:\Users\desbest\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\654ui7sc.default-release-1603378966756\storage\default\moz-extension+++0566257e-1926-462b-aea0-4d60770f65da^userContextId=4294967295\idb\3647222921wleabcEoxlt-eengsairo.files\5364
For me there is nothing in that sub-folder. Not even hidden/ super-hidden files.
I suppose that you could try zipping and uploading.
Okay I will see what I can dig up. On another note perhaps zip the entire idb folder and I csn see what happens if I import it.
Here it is attached.
idb.zip

I tried that and it didn't work. Creating a new firefox profile, installing onetab, then copying the profile data for the extension on my typical profile to my testing profile, the data isn't imported into onetab, instead onetab fails to load and its right click menu fails to exist. Also it causes the following page to be blank.

Thanks. Importing your data just breaks the extension on my machine. If you have access to another machine try installing the same extension on it and save a few tabs then navigate to the idb folder. My bet is that you will not find that 5634 file or anything similar. As far as I can work out there should only be sqlite databases.
Possibly submit a technical support request via the drop down list here:

I did email them and they didn't reply. Their website says that they get so many emails that they can't reply to everyone.
When did the extension last work correctly? Days, weeks or months ago?
If you have a system restore point listed from when it was working try recovering the extension's folder.
Use ShadowExplorer to Recover Files and Folders from Shadow Volume Copies
How to recover files and folders using Shadow Volume Copies
It became faulty after using system restore on March the 26th (to go back in time to the 19th). In fact that's the only fault that occurred after System Restore.
Using System Restore won't help as I would be using it for a second time.
I do have backup software on my computer but unfortunately I made an exclusion for the appdata folder to avoid it being backed up. I removed the exclusion now and won't be doing that again for in case any future issues arise. I use Backblaze.
