SOLVED: Can't get Open Shell to show Win 7-type Start Menu

I've used Open Shell a few times before, and once I set the Start Menu Style to "Classic style" (one column) and rebooted, I got just what I wanted. But I just finished an in-place repair install and did the same thing again, I simply cannot get the Classic Start Menu. Instead, it shows the extremely unwanted and horrible Metro app style menu. I've reset the settings to the default and then re-enabled the Classic start menu style (with reboot) several times, and it still always shows the Metro crap.
I tried importing my Open Shell settings from a working system, but that didn't work. I also tried Winaero Tweaker v13 and set everything appropriately, and when that didn't work either, I tried importing the Winaero settings from a working system, but that didn't work either!Would you knowledgeable folks please try to help me out? Thanks!

I don't use Open Shell, but it's possible that because an In-Place Upgrade does affect personalization... it might affect programs that have personalized Windows 10.

Try uninstalling, then re-installing Open Shell.

Well, I tried fully uninstalling the most recent version of Open Shell (v4_4_160) using Revo 4 Pro, then I installed the previous release (v4_4_152), chose the same settings, and... Lo, and Behold, it's working correctly again!
I hope that others who have problems with 4_4_160 will find this thread.
    Thanks to all anyway!
