    Win10 File Explorer replacement

Although due to some properties use this program, I want to ask tips on how fully replace it.
Total Commander file manager is OK, but for example, working with the home network is is unsatisfactory and complex. Needs a plugin for this(?). Or at least I can't operate me. Does anyone know something about some "combination" of those progs?
Thank you in advance for tips

Hi, first please confirm you can see other devices on your network when you use file explorer.
If you can't, no other such program will help you.
There is a tutorial to guide you on setting up networking.. it's easy to miss something.

Related: because of the way networking is implemented, it may take more than 20 minutes for a device to be visible on the network. tenforums members have found ways to deal with this.

XYplorer is straightforward in this respect- just launched it- sees another PC, no issues. (Not free)

    Free Commander - likewise. (free).

You can't 100% replace file explorer. You can partially replace it.

I know you can't throw out FE out of OS.
Likewise, I know that the network info takes all of the same place, or TCommander also. So the query was more academic. This is my ignorance of network configuration. Which tutorial goes for ignorant as I need? I've seen a few more.
    Thanks for the reaction anyway

"...This is my ignorance of network configuration..." You are not ignorant. Microsoft File Explorer, from Windows 3.0 to Windows for Workgroups 3.11 to Windows 95/98/98SE to Windows 7 - and now Windows 10, especially home network operations, sometimes is a candidate for Mystery Science Theatre 2000 and 3000 with appropriate comments by Tom Servo and Crowe. When it works, it's great! When it doesn't work great - ShowTime.

    hahaha!!!
One of the best responses Roland I received here in this virtual/global world.
In addition to the so-called professional advice from various experts from around the world I addressed in other discussion forums. "Turn on this, switch this, how you don't know it works, you're some strange that you can't..."
I'm an ordinary pc boxes user since win3.0. When something doesn't work, I'm looking for a solution to the problem, or I'll throw it into the trash can ;-) I welcome more similar advice.
You pleased me in today's absurd time, which is the same for all people, as I see here in Europe and everywhere else.
Thank you once again, warm regards from Prague.
    Peter
BTW: It works now partly as should be...

Opinion: Ive tried about 15 different file explorers from Qdir, Total Commander and so many more. With some settings changes and with a theme change Free Commander XE is my all time favorite. Completely versatile and Customizable.
