Is it possible to upgrade Java without it bugging you about installing various toolbars and changing your search engine to ASK?
I do use have to use Java and it really annoys me having to say no to this rather repeatedly. Should I get Java from IBM rather than Oracle so they don't bug you like a cheap advertising site from 1995 or is Oracle still the best way?
Well OK, (sorry about that) is IBM or Oracle verion of Java better? Does it matter?
Normally IBM is a bit behind on the versions I've found. I assumed they tested it a bit more as opposed to Oracle who just try to sell the ASK toolbar.
Perhaps I'm a bit paranoid but Oracle seems a rather dodgy company these days.
Hi,
Apologies of if my issue has been covered previously in this thread.
I need to install java re for one particular banking site, which will only work if IE 11 is used and java 32-bit is present.
Yet I cannot seem to get java version 32-bit to install on my PC? Only the 64-bit version install. I get a "installation failed message when trying to follow the instruction for 32-bit installation on the JAVA website.
I also cannot seem to get visualroute route work, which specifically states it requires java re 32-bit to work.
What should I do please?
