i have installed this program and every time i login to my account it starts up automatically which annoys me greatly
i have checked both "shell:startup" and Windows Task Manager startup, it is not listed in both places
i dont want to uninstall it just i do not want it to start automatically

Open the program. Go to "Configuration/Preferences" and uncheck the "Load with Windows" box.
Great little program. Shows up in Task Scheduler on my system:
Most programs you install will startup automatically, you simply go into the program and change the startup preference.
I'm glad my licensed copies (one for each laptop) starts up right after Windows 7 loads and begins to populate the desktop and taskbar. That startup alerted me to the fact, twice, that my hybrid harddrive was slowly heading into the sunset. It gave me time to make full image backups of the OS partitions and Data partition before HDS went from YellowAlert to RedWarning.
That's why I bought HD-Sentinel Pro as well - to have something that will continuously keep an eye on the health of my SSD (and also that of any backup drive I connect to my computer). Not had it long, but really impressed with it.
Nice piece of software, it has saved me a couple of times.
