No, you misunderstand. You need to separate two ideas in your mind.
a. the driver
b. the recording software.
These two can have separate resolutions.
I have had my Easycap running under Win 10 on my other PC- but a few years ago. When I plugged it in, the driver is still present on that PC.
So you need to
a. As I suggested above, find a driver that works with your device.
b. Choose any recording software you like that accepts input from a USB device such as this.
Solve (a) and e.g. VLC player should record the output from it.
