    Flash is installed but all flash embeds are replaced with blue i icon


    Flash is installed but all flash embeds are replaced with blue i information icon. And I am using a web browser called Basilisk that supports flash. Is a windows update by microsoft blocking the flash player from running?

    Why is this happening?

    Flash went out of support Dec 31, 2020. See the below notes for more information:

    Yes I know flash is unsupported, but I still want to run flash now.
    It turns out that flash has a kill switch, so even if you have it installed on your computer, it's designed to break after 12/01/21.
    Anyway I found a solution that removes the kill switch.
