Can't setup iPhone on Your Phone correctly

I try to set up my iPhone on the your Phone app, and it never finishes the process. It gets stuck at 60% after clicking 'Yes, I finished installing Edge on my iPhone'.
If I 'cancel' that operation, the phone shows in 'Your phone' as being linked, but it's not. Any attempt to send something from iOS Edge or Photos to my PC, just fails.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Have you opened Edge on the iPhone & signed in?

Is the iPhone connected to the PC via Bluetooth?
Are you using any VPN on the PC &/or iPhone?
Do you use any third party antivirus &/or Firewall?

No, they are connected over Wi-fi, and no VPN and no firewall or 3rd party av.

I’ve added my iPhone X to my laptop via Bluetooth & I it is connected to Edge on the PC & the device. I’d try doing the same to see if things change. Also is Edge set as the default browser on your PC?

Thanks, I tried over BT, but no change. It’s supposed to work over Wi-fi.
Yep, Edge is default on PC and iPhone.

What is the OS of the PC & the iPhone?
Have you tried removing Edge from the iPhone & starting again by adding the phone to the PC then installing Edge & logging in?

W10 20H2 and iOS 14.4, and yes, I have tried deleting Edge from the iPhone and starting again.

No matter what I do, the same results as shown in post#1 occur.

    Strange.
    Hopefully there’s an answer.
