Windows 10: windows media player Solved

    I thought that I had read that win 10 would eliminate windows media player ? i'm not complaining but mine still works just fine

    Actually they got rid of Windows Media Centre. I never used it much so I don't really miss it. But for those that used it as a MPC, that was a killer as they now have to look for alternatives or not upgrade to Windows 10.

    The issue with WMP is it's buried like IE11. You have to look for it if you want to use it...

Uninstalling Windows Media Player in Software and Apps
Since I rarely use Windows Media Player these days after they changed things in Windows 8, is it worth actually uninstalling it or will that cause some problems because some facilities are tied to the software?
