Unable to display images in MS Sticky Notes

I have just started to try displaying images in Sticky Notes but every time I get the told 'this image cannot be downloaded." I have tried with jpegs and pngs. Are there limits on file type and size? If so, where can they be found? What must I do to get this feature to work?

Latest Win10, just opened Sticky Notes then opened File Explorer then the Pictures folder and selected 3 images, dragged into a new Note, result:
Unable to display images in MS Sticky Notes-image.png
The 3 files totaled 459KB in size.

That looks good. I will try again. If I am not able to get the same result what might be the cause?

Unable to display images in MS Sticky Notes-image.png No go, as you can see. Also when dragging an image I often get the red 'no entry' sign.

Hey, could you please post your solution? Thanks in advance

Also, in case there's no reply:
You can also view the image (.png) by making the sticky note as small as possible.
Then, a button will appear "Show images". :)

That way, you can still view the image, even if it's not visible on the sticky note itself...

I really need this to work, but I couldn't find a solution to this issue anywhere, if you are able to explain how to solve the issue I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
