Certian apps only install on administrator account

Hello, i am having a problem with installing certain apps. it only happens for a few apps, such as davinci resolve 16. i use the standard user account, and when i wanted to get a new app, i asked my administrator, and they installed the app (on my account). It installed, but never showed up anywhere in my files. i then asked the administrator to log onto his account, and it was sitting on his desktop, and it worked fine. I tried re-installing it a couple of times, but it always showed up on the admin account, but not mine. what should i do?

in your Standard User account, Right click Setup.exe or the installer and choose Run As Administrator. Have the administrator put in his Administrator Password and it should install under your profile.
