    Lastpass has amnesia.

    Hi there,

Couple of months ago, lastpass started to forget to fill in name and password on about every site. Besides it was irritating I didn't think much of it. It was only a bit annoying. But now it forgets who I am. So I need to type my pretty long email address time and time again. This is going too far so I'm looking for a password manager that is actually working.

I've installed a fresh Firefox in the meantime but that didn't work either. Problem persists. And I'm sick of it by now.

    Any suggestions?

Use Lastpass browser extension (not Lastpass for Desktop) and set it to remember email. It never "forgets" mine even after using various browser junk cleanup utilities.
    Check:

LastPass auto sign-in not retained | Firefox Support Forum | Mozilla Support

When you fresh installed firefox did you first delete your old profile data and check for other leftovers before rebooting and installing a fresh copy?

If you didn't - then try it. Backup bookmarks first or backup profile to an external drive and disconnect it as the Firerfox installer could pick up elements of any existing profile.

Manually check here for leftovers after uninstall and delete if found:

    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Press the [Windows key+R] to open a Run dialog, type in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\ and click OK to open the Mozilla folder, then delete the Firefox folder if found.

    Reboot.

This has happened to me a couple times before. Removing all cookies for LastPass should solve it. Delete them all, and then sign into LastPass, and it should work like before.

If you delete cookies after every session this will also cause the problem. You need to whitelist LastPass to keep it in session, or you'll need to enter the info every time you open Firefox. You can do that in the options also.
