I never said you did, my friend.... I'm speaking out loud, typing I should say. It was a solved suggestion to myself to just keep reasearching.

IDK if I don't understand certain terms, or if I'm not making it very clear. There are 3 apps that aren't the same size as the other icons. Before I did a factory-restore on the laptop and created a back-up to OneDrive, I hadn't dealt with any "blue border" or different size icons. Everything was in "coalition" or in "union" if that makes any sense.

....They are already short-cuts on my desktop. I just don't like the size difference/blue border around it (meaning iCloud, and Mic. Marketplace), and I don't like the blue border around YouTube. They weren't like that before, I'm just looking for a way to get back to it, or if anyone has a tutorial on custom ones, I can try and just do it that as well.

Why unintsall it, just kill it.

First, shut it down, right click on the icon in the SysTray > Close OneDrive > close OneDrive

Then stop it from starting/running - Open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) > Task Manager > if no tabs along the top are showing, click More Details > Startup tab > locate OneDrive in the list > right-click > Disable.

But I seriously doubt whether anything you did with OneDrive would have any effect on your Desktop icons. You need to look elsewhere.

Try deleting the icons, then re-creating them.

OK thank you! Do you know where I could get default icons? And please not the old-@$$ microsoft ones! �� I'm just wondering if you known anyone with who may have a scipt to download? Because I figured out how to change the icons, but I wouldnt necessarily know a size or how to get just the icon without a background. Im waiting on these the rest of my files to load on SD so I can get rid of that damn app already.
