a program that can block internet access of another software?

window firewall is no go for me, it blue screen randomly once every 1-2 days due to wifi issue and spent days trying out 4 different wifi cards and 4-5 drivers over a span of half year with no improvement.

need a software that can block internet access for current process or program which is what firewall is capable of doing.

I even tried host file, IP security policies on local computer in MMC and no luck. firewall did work but again, blue screens randomly.

pls help if you know any.

That would be a Firewall. You have to create rules for blocking programs if not defined in the Firewall rules.

Check the settings available on your modem.

What are the BSOD errors showing?

That's not much help. Take a note next time it happens. You may also need to follow these steps

That's not much help, that's just a setting of your modern .. one of many. You'll need to go a little bit "deeper" than that. You'll need to check the options available in your modems settings menu and subsequent options under each menu item (consult the manual and/or search the web).
And it all depends on the make/model/etc of your modem - some allow, some don't.
you said check settings, what settings? my other computer have no bluescreen issue, only this one so I'd assume its computer not modem problem.

also in modem what exactly im looking for? there are many options and setting in modem, when you say some allow some don't, allow what?

I was going to suggest Windows 10 Firewall Control [I have been using Windows 7 Firewall Control for some years now], however, I am not sure if I understand the situation. W10FC may or may not work in this situation.

(Note I've have amended my earlier response, it wasn't clear to what part you were replying with ... "it shows sys tcpip something can't recall.". I now realise that was about the BSOD, not your modem settings.)

I was referring to the settings options in your modem. But you've now provided new information that the same things doesn't affect another device.

Even so, you will need to consult your modem's manual (or search the web) for info on how to add/block websites using the modems configuration(s)

there are many options and setting in modem, when you say some allow some don't, allow what?
Some will allow you to block web sites, some don't have that level of control, it varies from brand/make/model of modem.

And it will require a certain amount of technical understanding, not just a simple one-click-fixes-all. You may need to seek some hands-on assistance.

What is the brand, make, model of the modem?

Will need more specific details than this. Take a note next time it happens. And you may need to follow this advice
