    Cloning to a Smaller SSD

What is a decent cloning product that can clone from a larger hdd to a smaller ssd, either paid or free. There's not a lot on the old drive.

    I'll give it a go.

No luck. I couldn't see anyway of selecting all the partitions on the source disk under the SSD cloning option and when trying the clone hard drive option it gets to 43% and says the destination must be formatted but is then unable to format it. I've tried formatting myself but no difference.

That's what I tried but it can't format the destination for some reason.

Could be that the free edition clones to similar partition style. Gpt>gpt or mbr>mbr.

Are your source and destination disk the same partition style?

All questions of this stype are best accompanied by a screenshot of disk management window.

They will both be Gpt. The source drive is only a few years old.
