    Windows store installing nVidia CP for AMD card


    Hello.

    Today Windows 10 v20H2 19042.746 has installed nVidia CP via Windows Store. I have a Radeon RX550 card.

    Have you always used a AMD gfx card?
    Have you ever had an Nvidia card installed with your current instance of Windows 10?
    Maybe there are remnants of Nvidia in the Windows registry and the Win10 app store is picking up on it..

    Yes. I had a GT 730 earlier. I am going to check registry, even if I used DDU before swapping cards.

    There were several instances of nVidia CP in registry. Now everything seems to be in working order. Thanks.
