EaseUs Todo Backup - upgrade or not?
Hi;
I have the home (paid) version 11.5 Todo Backup on Windows 10 - single user license.
Every time I start the program, I am reminded that there is a newer version available, but I have always declined, since the version I have seems to be working fine.
So now, with version 13.0 released, and I'm still running 11.5 on Windows 10 ver 2004, I'm wondering whether maybe it's worth the $14.99 to upgrade to version 13.0.
There is one thing that bothers me about the older ver 11.5 - that is when I do a partition backup, I get a warning that some partitions on my drive cannot be read, and that a sector by sector backup must be performed.
i get this warning because I have dual-boot with Ubuntu 20.05 and Windows 10, with the system booting into Grub.
When I contacted EaseUs, I was assured that the sector by sector backup is safe, but I have never attempted to do a restore, as the system is working fine, and I don't want to chance a failure if it is unnecessary.
If version 13.0 has fixed the issue with Linux (or any other non-Windows partitions), then I would want to go for the upgrade. But if not, I don't think it's worth the $15.
Your advice?
Thanks
