Hide or delete program icon from taskbar

I would like to delete or hide a program app (Blue Stacks) from my taskbar. I've already been through 'Personalization' & selected for it not to appear on taskbar. I have even unpinned it. So, I know how to use registry editor or Power Shell and would like some help in navigating through either of those commands to hide or delete the icon from taskbar. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

    Is it an open program?
That is showing on the task bar because it is running.
you can try dragging it to the notifications /\ arrow and see if it will go in the box.
Or changing the icon to something like a period or something else.

I don't know if this will help.

Where does it appear on the taskbar? A screenshot would help. Thanks.

Down along the bottom on the taskbar. This is crazy but this is not allowing me to paste a screen shot in this reply! It's just one of the open program icons along the bottom in the taskbar and not referring to the system tray. I cannot unpin it or even go through the personalization settings to remove it. I'm thinking that there has to be a way to hide it or delete it using registry...?

Nope, not allowing me to drag it over there to the system tray. And I've tried changing the icon in several places within the program and not allowing me to do so!

Hide or delete program icon from taskbar-1.png

    thus:
Hide or delete program icon from taskbar-screenshot-.png
    - remember to wait a moment for the Upload button.

There have been 3 or 4 users who had problems because of some browser setting using that.
There's a tutorial available on posting screenshots.

Try the program in my last post here:

(The OP never bothered to respond).

Thanks! Didn't see this command in the reply section. Here's what it looks like. I want the Blue Stacks icon to disappear while the program is open. I have done all obvious things to do this & it is still there. This why I wonder if registry can get rid of it..

(I posted on the thread you referred me too!! OOps!) Thank you for working with me on this and your patience. I operate in Windows 10 & these same commands are not coming up. I opened BlueStacks in file manager, right clicked on the folder & see below what I get. I also right clicked on the title bar with BlueStacks open & all I get are the listing commands of 'Move, Size, Minimize, Maximize, Close'. Am I not seeing something you are trying to help point me to? Thank you again...

Have you downloaded and installed the program mentioned here?
How to move app icon from taskbar to tray

    Moo0 Window Menu plus (free).

There are older programs that did that in Win 7 and Vista- there may be others around if you search.
    I've not tested this recently.

    I just searched for
    move to tray
    and found this tiny prog:
    Download MoveToTray 1.0.0.0

MoveToTray is a tiny application with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to send applications from the taskbar to the system tray area.

I am sorry as I did not realize there was a separate program to install. I will go try the Moo0 program & give you an update...Thank you.

Interesting, looks like the Moo) program took away the 'Iconize to tray' feature! I've looked in all of the commands & nothing there to do so. I'll try your next suggestion. Thank you for this info!Hide or delete program icon from taskbar-moo0-pic.jpg
