    Can't remove Flash

After reading about Microsoft ending Flash support, I thought I'd remove it completely from my Windows 10 Pro x64 (if it's there at all).

I downloaded the Adobe Flash uninstaller, ran it, restarted the pc, opened Internet Explorer (I don't use IE, but that's probably where Flash might be lurking) and went to

    Is Flash installed? - WhatIsMyBrowser.com

and got the message 'Flash 32.0.0 is installed in this browser'.

    Repeat >> same.

BTW, as expected, Edge said 'no Flash installed', but I was wondering what's going on with IE.

In IE open 'tools' and manage add-ons. Under toolbars and extensions and the 'show' bar select 'run without permission' and disable Shockwave Flash Object.

Flash Player Settings Manager is still present in Control Panel. What uninstalls that?

You should find it here C:\Windows\WinSxS\wow64_adobe-flash-for-windows_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.19041.571_none_13c86422fcdc755b

NPAPPI and PPAPI plugins for browsers like Firefox and Chrome, could be Shockwave as well.

Run as Administrator " FlashUtil_ActiveX.exe " found in the above folder to uninstall Adobe Flash.
