I am sorry I am unsure of the point you are making on your last screenshot. Are you saying that if you then click - update all- the 8 do not update

They do - but unless I click "update all" they never update automatically.
I would think, that having read your other threads, I can be reasonably assured you will have tried everything I could suggest.
There are only two possible less common reasons that I can think of
1. It has been mentioned on occasions that a VPN can prevent automatic updates
2. You time. region or language settings are different in the Microsoft account now in use to they were when the store apps were installed OR indeed - different on the local account if that is now what is in use.

Far more likely I think and I do not mean it in any manner to be critical of how you manage your system is that the failure of the store apps to update is caused by some other change you have made albeit that is in respect of an apparently unrelated
area.
That is very possible. I know that some of my account shows in Italian - I am originally Italian - even though all my systems are set to English. Would that stop automatic updates? And why my main desktop system - which is set to English too - does not seem to be affected?2. Thanks for being diplomatic with me but I do not read your advice as a critique on how I manage my system! In fact, do appreciate your help! :)
Well I have read that it can - why it would is not quite clear to me - except that if apps were installed with the Microsoft account and then the system used with a local account, in which for some reason location and language were different - who knows?. The intricacies of the 10 OS and the sometimes unexpected interactions between various settings - are IMHO an education.
Turn on automatic updates in the Microsoft Store.
To do so:
Select the Start screen, then select Microsoft Store
In Microsoft Store at the upper right, select the account menu (the three dots) and then select Settings.
Under App updates, set Update apps automatically to On.
CHECK THAT YOUR TIME & LOCATION SETTINGS MATCH YOUR MICROSOFT ACCOUNT
Select Start , then select Settings > Time & Language.
Select Date & time to verify your time settings
Select Region to check your location.
These settings need to show your current location and time zone and must match the information in your Microsoft account.
I DO APPRECIATE that this link does NOT deal with updates to Store apps but it outlines the principle of the above
