    How Can I Set Task Manager To Start Automatically?


    Task manager used to startup and show on screen when I would start my computer, is there a way to do that in 20h2?

    I would create a task in Task Scheduler to run At system startup.

    The Actions would be Start a program.

    The program is C:\Windows\System32\taskmgr.exe

    Right click Start > Computer Management > Task Scheduler > Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > Task Manager.
    Properties > Triggers > New...

    Location of Taskmgr


    The proper shortcut to start taskmgr in 20H2 is

    C:\Windows\WinSxS\wow64_microsoft-windows-advancedtaskmanager_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.19041.844_none_9732d1507eb1227f\LaunchTM.exe

    Note that it requires LaunchTM.exe, NOT Taskmgr.exe
