Can Windows Media Player be Used to Burn several CDs to a DVD?

I have a collection of approximately 100 music CDs. Would like to condense those to DVDs. Is this possible by use of WMP?

Are you asking if Windows Media Player can copy a CD to a DVD?

Actually, I would like to get two, or more, 700 MB music CDs copied/burned to a single 4.3 GB DVD.
    Typically songs
show under WMP> Library as 5- to 9-MB per song, although a few songs show as much as 43-MB . In any case, it seems that a multiple CD-set music album should fit on a single DVD formatted for music files (.cda).

Yes. Been that way for a while.

And to be specific, yes, you can rip CD's. There are however better programs suited to the task. I use dBpoweramp CD Ripper, but that's a paid program. There are also free programs besides WMP, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I've a collection of over 3000 CD's and use dBpoweramp to rip to my NAS drive. I rip in flac or Ape audio format. The good thing about Windows Media Player also support flac.
