Does anyone know for sure if a 32 bit install of 2004 should be up to OS Build 19041.630 ?

I don`t think any of us install and use a 32 bit system, so I thought maybe it might have something to do with the issue.
It's available on the ISO download sites.

Are you talking about from the Media Creation Tool? When I try yo run MediaCreationTool2004.exe I get this

which gives me 20H2 so I would have to use UUP Dump to get the 2004 version I wanted:

No, my question is, Should a fully updated 32 bit install of 2004 be up to OS Build 19041.630 by now.

My question is aimed at a 32 Bit install of 2004, nothing else.

32-bit or 64-bit sir? Both are on the menu.

You are wrong with this assumption. Please look at MS catalog of updates where you can see clearly there are updates
for downloads either for X64 or X86 systems.

The answer should be the same as it is for a 64 bit install. Unless the user chose to apply the update they would still be at 610 or maybe even 572, whatever level Microsoft last forced on the 2004 stream.

I run a couple of 32-bit installs. Yes, they get build 19041.630, just like any other machine - and the optional 20H2 update.

    Error code 0x800f0805 means CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE.

And error code 0x8007042b means ERROR_PROCESS_ABORTED - The process terminated unexpectedly.

The in-place upgrade apparently fails because of this:

    Code:

Looks like wcp.dll is not found or is corrupted. wcp.dll is usually included in the SSUs (Servicing Stack Update).

If you have an older, intact backup, restore it.

And since they are still on 19041.329, the updates seem to have stopped working for a long time.

    Friendly greetings
Sorry for any mistakes. English is not my native language.
