is it safe to use both samsung magician and hard disk sentinel

i have a samsung nvme ssd and a normal hdd in my laptop. i want to install both programs. i will keep hard disk sentinel running in the background the whole time. i will disable the run on startup option in samsung magician and i wont use the program and i will only use it when i want to do diagnostic tests on my nvme ssd and then i will exit the program. is that ok?

is it ok if both programs are running at the same time and both are reading disk health and temp and smart info? what i mean is that hard disk sentinel is running in the background and then i run samsung magician to do diagnostic tests

Should be fine. I've had both running before without any issues.

I have always had Samsung Magician startup and boot and still do. I decided to give HD Sentinel a try and had them both running for days together just to get familiar with HD Sentinel. I have since gone back to just using Samsung Magician and will only use HD Sentinel if I want to occasionally see what it says about my drives' health.

ok but the problem is that samsung magician doesnt analyze my hdd. i switched my laptop to ahci mode in the bios. samsung magician doesnt give temp and heath of the hdd and i cant do diagnostics on the hdd. it only does those things for the nvme ssd

Away from my PC now, so I'll have confirm that it does show temperature for my HDD too.

For HDD, I see drive health: n/a on two PCs.

On one of those PCs HDD temperature is n/a (WDC HDD) and on the other (Seagate HDD) it shows a temp value / normal.
