Remove "Always use this application to open .DAT files"

Hello,

I want to uncheck the option "Always use this application to open .DAT files" when I do "open with" on windows 10
I found how to remove this option permanently but not how to simply uncheck it

Remove "Always use this application to open .DAT files"-capture.png

Remove "Always use this application to open .DAT files"-win-10-version.png

It's not ticked by default for me in 1903.

Remove "Always use this application to open .DAT files"-untitled.png

I didn't know that

It's always ticked in 1909
I'm in Windows 10 Enterprise, maybe that's it

I guess I wouldn't find a solution to my problem..

Perhaps someone might yet think of something for you.

I've found this for you from Win 7. It may work... I've not tried it.

The solution is too complicated for my level I think..

I opted for the solution of removing the registration of a program by default.

For those looking for this, I deleted

"DelegateExecute" in regedit.exe, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Unknown \ shell \ openas \ command

The system no longer offers me to save a default program

Thank you for your help, if anyone has another solution I am interested
