Windows Media Player Streaming Not Responding

Hello:

Recently I have had trouble with WMP Streaming not responding. All other parts of WMP work fine. When I try to enable other streaming options, view discovered devices, allow all devices on the home network to stream then click OK the Windows streaming function it hangs up. I then get "Windows media player streaming not responding." I have done scannow, WMP stop and start

This is new and has never happened before. I would be grateful for any help!

Use the recommended #5 RestoreHealth option - I wrote 6 in error.

I will try this soon. WMP is non essential and since it may tie up the computer for a couple of hours, I have to make sure no one in the house is inconvenienced.

My experience has been that it takes less than 30 minutes, so if you allow an hour, you should be fine.
