    SHAREX Question

OK, I am on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. However, when I start SHAREX and want to do a scrolling screen the SHAREX box is there and becomes part of the save! What am I doing wrong as I obviously do not want to have this...just the scrolling page! Is there a simple option I am missing?

Click "Scrolling Capture", click "Start Scrolling Capture", click "Save"

I will try it. I did configure a hot key and it seemed OK, but need to figure out the file type to have it save in.

Well, I had it working and had it save a file to my download directory. Now I do not know what I did but it seems to not work any more! I do a scrolling capture and click on the page and it seems to work but I have no idea where it is saving it! I must have broken it somehow. Should I reset everything or uninstall and try again? I am frustrated as I do not know why it "broke".

Right click on the ShareX icon in the System Tray to show where the default folder is.

OK I will see if it does go there. I thought if I had a hot key for scrolling capture it would just do it. Do I need to click the web page at all for it to work?

OK, but I think I only click once and it will scroll the whole thing. I will see what happens.
Thank you for your help...there are so many options!

I'm fooling around with it a bit more; some web pages are hit and miss!

And, it only scrolls ¼ of the way down a web page on a 4K monitor!?!?!?

    Back to the drawing board!

    Update:

It's gotta be something dickered in the ShareX software, because Snagit works perfect...
