    Some Photoshop shortcuts quit working

Moderators - move this thread if necessary but I searched this thread & found similar posts.

I've used shortcuts in Photoshop for years but every now & then one or two Photoshop shortcuts quit working. Other shortcuts are not effected. The only major change I've made to my PC is a new monitor but can't see why that might change my keyboard. My keyboard is an old iMac aluminum which I haven't noticed an errors at all. I have tried to reassign the shortcut but can't overwrite it.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot or fix this? Thanks!

    Thanks, I use Photoshop CS6 Ex 64-bit.
The main shortcut not working is Ctrl+Alt+C to change canvas size. I was able to remap to Ctrl+Alt+, which works to change canvas size. Ctrl+C to copy works so it would seem the key "C" is okay.

Just seems crazy why it quit working using Ctrl+Alt+C which is a Photoshop shortcut default.

Adobe hasn't updated Photoshop CS6 for several years. I do have a Intuos Wacom sketch pad but haven't used it for a year or more.

The major change has been updating to v2004 & OS updates but I don't recall having this issue since the update.

I have added a new monitor as I mentioned.

No. I never bought into the creative cloud. Ctrl+Alt+C is listed as the proper shortcut but doesn't work. Ctrl+Alt+, does work but I wrote that one.
Maybe a Windows update killed the keyboard driver. Changed the driver to something different. It is a Mac keyboard & has always worked fine on my computers.

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing. The Mac keyboard is 11 years old but built like a tank. But, it is Mac & I no longer have the iMac from whence it came, so no way to get the exact driver needed. Device manager says it's a HID Keyboard Device using a Microsoft driver from June of 2006.

I ordered this today (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It's wireless but it seems most are today. We'll see on Saturday when it arrives!

The new keyboard made no difference. PC quirks! No point kicking a dead horse. I was due for a new keyboard anyway.

    Must be Gremlins! 😉
