    Is it possible to sync individual files in onedrive?

    With onedrive, you select a folder on your machine where you are going to store files for onedrive. For example, let's say that you decide that you will use C:\onedrive.

    Once you have a location, you can optionally choose which "folders" inside of C:\onedrive that you want to sync. By default, it's going to choose all folders.

    If you put some single files into C:\onedrive, they will be synced. If you were to try to configure these to sync, you will see a checkbox for "Files not in a folder". You cannot pick the individual files themselves, it's all or nothing as far as loose files in the root of C:\onedrive.

    Trying to make sure two excel files are always backed up. I could create a folder, put them in that folder and then sync that folder but if I don't have too...bueno.
