    Snipping tool

    Good morning Everyone,
My first post in this group! Question about the windows 10 snipping tool. Can I snip long web pages? I have only been able to snip what is on the screen-no scrolling for longer pages?
    Thanks for any help.

Hi, don't think that's possible with that, but it is with some 3rd party programs e.g.
Duckcapture, ShareX capture, Greenshot (not tried that one, but some here like it).

Not all programs that claim to offer scrolling capture do it well or successfully, though.

    Frank,

I can see that you are using Edge and you might regard this issue as too unimportant to make you switch but Firefox has the built-in ability to screenshot the entire webpage including those parts that are off-screen.

    In Firefox, you just
    - right-click in a blank area of the page,
    - select Take a screenshot,
    - click on Save full page,
    - click on Download.

Chromium Edge can capture a full sized screenshot too. It's a built in function that doesn't need any add-on.

Press F12 to get the Developers Tools. The screenshot is available on the 'More options' menu.

'Capture screenshot' gets only the displayed part of the page, 'Capture full size screenshot' gets the whole of the page.

Hi Frank, welcome to Ten Forums.

Another option for full page screen captures that I often use is 'Print to PDF'.
The feature is native to Windows 10 and doesn't require any third-party apps.
You may have to enable it before use.
